The Spectrum Art Prize

The Spectrum Art Prize provides a platform for autistic artists to speak about the challenges they face and how their autism impacts upon their lives and their families. The exhibition offers a rare insight into their perception of the world around them, their hopes and fears, and enables them to highlight their condition through art.

As well as raising the profile of autism, Spectrum wants to leave a lasting legacy for these individuals, so that they are not defined by their condition or diagnosis, but are recognised as artists in their own right; defined instead by a sense of empowerment and self-worth. Read more...

Carmignac Photojournalism Award: Lizzie Sadin
